JEFFFEST

GALLERY OPENING: JUNE 15, 2025 5:30PM to 8:30PM

JeFFFest is a favorite annual event held on the last Sunday of Heritage Days in downtown Huntington. Enjoy great food, live music, and local art all in one place!Sample tasting menus from a variety of Northern Indiana food vendors, listen to live music all evening, and check out our silent art auction featuring framed artwork donated by local artists of all ages.Proceeds support the LaFontaine Arts Council and its mission to promote arts in education and the community.

Want to contribute? Pick up a $5 canvas at the Art Center today! Submissions due by June 13th.

GALLERY OPENING: JUNE 27 6PM to 8PM

Gallery opening for "Allegiance"  This show represents memory and meaning. It explores the tension between past and present, between the romanticized American dream and the reality of a changing landscape. Some pieces may evoke the warmth of a 1950s soda shop, while others reveal of forgotten dreams. Viewers are invited to piece together their own version of Americana—what is remembered, what is lost, and what is reimagined. 

America Carrillo is a mural artist based in Indiana, driven by a passion for public art that fosters community, sparks conversation, and ignites creativity. Specialising in murals as well as collage art, she has built a reputation for her expressive, distinctive style.

TENDERLOIN FEST & KIDS COLORING CONTEST

GALLERY OPENING: August 9 4PM to 7PM

Join us in Downtown Huntington, Indiana—home of the original breaded tenderloin—for a family-friendly celebration of this iconic local favorite! Enjoy delicious food vendors, live entertainment, a lively market, kids activities, and exclusive downtown business deals.

As part of the fun, the Huntington Art Center is hosting a Tenderloin Fest Coloring Contest! Two age groups (1-6 and 7+) can submit tenderloin-themed coloring pages designed by local artist Alejandro Avila for a chance to win a FREE tenderloin from Nick’s Kitchen (1st prize), FREE Art class at the center (2nd prize), or a social media shoutout (3rd prize)!  Submissions due by August 1st. Winners will be announced August 7th and honored during a special showcase on August 9th at the festival.  Download the coloring pages below:
