About Us

Our history

The LaFontaine Arts Council formed in the early 1970’s and became incorporated in 1978.  By 1990 the Council began Arts in Education programming in Huntington County Schools. The series became a vital asset for schools by providing exposure to arts and culture. The board of directors have continued to work to bring programming to the schools while also supporting arts in the community.

Our mission

Our mission is to turn creative dreams into community impact by providing accessible arts programming and fostering creative entrepreneurship, we ensure that art remains a sustainable and inclusive pillar of our community.
